Area FAQs & Info

What will the weather be like when we come to visit?

Weather in Idaho is most often a toss up! We like to say that if you don’t like the weather, just drive 5 miles or wait 5 minutes! You can go to Wunderground.comand put in our zip code, 83836, to check the weather before you arrive. Also, go to SandpointOnline.com and click on the Recreation tab for local weather data.

At the Resort, we have a full service Athletic Club; video arcade with ping pong, pool table and air hockey half court basketball/pickleball/volleyball court and even a horseshoe pit! We also have kids craft classes and bingo throughout the year. During the summer, there are family games that are scheduled during the week as well as paddle boats, canoes and kayaks that are available for rent.

During the winter, we have information on snowmobile trails and we highly recommend visiting Schweitzer.com to find out what’s going on at Schweitzer Mountain Resort (about 45 minutes from the Resort). At this time, there are no shuttles going from the Hope area to the mountain, but there are shuttles going from the base of the mountain to Schweitzer Village.

We also have self-driving tour maps and hiking maps available at the Resort including a “10 Waterfall Tour” map that takes you over to Montana, up close to the Canadian border and down through Idaho in one big loop!
